The Cliffs at Kispiox River
Kispiox River has the largest strain of wild steelhead in the world

The Kispiox River is renowned for great salmon fishing, and with the largest strain of wild steelhead in the world, it is truly a steelhead fishing paradise.

Meandering through the Skeena Watershed, the Kispiox River offers up long knee-deep runs and riffles and large bouldered pools. Whether you are a dry fly fanatic, prefer wet fly, or small barbless spinners, we can bring it all to you.

The ultimate angling experience - the thrill of steelhead fishing on a fly - is a hallmark at The Cliffs at Kispiox River. Bring your favorite rod, waders and flies. We provide the ride and the guide. If you are more of a novice, we will arrange for one of our expert guides to introduce you to the sport of kings, including providing you the gear if you need it.

You may spend your entire vacation fly fishing for steelhead trout or, if you prefer, you can use your free time off the water to enjoy customized day-trip adventures coordinated for you by the Bear Claw Lodge. A river float trip, horseback riding, heli-skiing or backcountry hiking and touring are among guests' favorite alternative activities. We arrange all the details at your request.
