Canada sacrifices to save a goal!

Swiss 12 - Canada 11
Our first hockey game of the season was a great one! A big thank-you to all of the locals for coming out and participating! Hot stew, hot chocolate, bon-fire, snow bar, and excited players made for a great evening! The game was close... Canada came out dominating, which encouraged the Swiss to step it up and take charge in the game. In the 2nd period the Swiss were up by 2... Canadians were determined to comeback and tied the game up 11-11 right before the end of the 3rd period. Overtime was a nail biter, but the Swiss scored the game winning goal taking the Canadians 12-11. Rematch Wednesday, January 11th at 4pm.
